That's where we come in. The staff at Long Island Endodontics, headed by Dr. John Santopolo, takes pride in partnering with general dentists to ensure patients get the highest quality care in a comfortable and caring setting.
Since 1978, Dr. Santopolo has been in private practice in the Five Towns and opened a second office in Merrick in 2007. He has built a solid reputation for employing the latest treatments and technologies combined with highly personalized service.
He utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and was one of the first in New York State to perform endodontic procedures with the aid of an orascope. In 2011, he purchased a YAP Laser, which aids in the removal of broken instruments and limits the amount of time a patient is in the chair.
In addition to maintaining a full-time practice limited to Endodontics, Dr. Santopolo has served as past president of the Rockaway Dental Society and The New York State Association of Endodontics. He is also on the staff of Peninsula General Hospital located in New York City and is an active member of the ADA, the AAE, the New York State Association of Endodontists and was recently elected to the board of the Nassau County Dental Society.
Dr. Santopolo also serves as a member of Real World Endo's Board of Advisors and is a certified lecturer for Real World Endo. He frequently lectures throughout the east coast and continues to publish articles on various topics related to his field, including stem cell technology, the single tooth anesthesia system and the YAP Laser.
