Financial Policy & Payment Options
At Long Island Endodontics, our goal is for our patients to be able to comfortably afford dental care. We proudly offer the following financial policy so that you can decide which payment option best suits your needs.
Pre-Payment Options
For your convenience, our practice offers a $100 discount if you pay for your root canal treatment in full by cash or check at the first appointment. We offer a $50 discount if you pay in full by credit card (except CareCredit). Only one discount per patient, please.
Senior Citizen Discount (age 60 +)
As a courtesy to anyone 60 years or older, we will gladly discount your fee by 10%. Only one discount per patient and discount can not be used with CareCredit.
Credit Cards
Our office accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover for your convenience.
Monthly Payments
If you prefer a payment plan, we ask that you sign a credit card authorization form allowing us to charge your card the allotted amount over a three-month period. A down payment will be required at the initial appointment.
We are happy to work with you to plan out the most appropriate arrangements for your budget. Financing your treatment allows you to start your dental care immediately and spread the payments over a period of time. Most importantly, it offers you the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of your dental health without the financial strain.
CareCredit®
Because your smile is important to us, we offer CareCredit®, a healthcare credit card specifically designed to pay for treatments and procedures not covered by insurance. CareCredit has two unique features: every CareCredit® transaction is eligible for a no-interest* plan or low-interest plan and you can use the card at Long Island Endodontics and all other healthcare practices that offer CareCredit®. CareCredit has a variety of low-minimum monthly payment plans, so you can start your treatment right away

Insurance:
We’ll submit your insurance and work with your dental insurance company to help you get the maximum benefits allowed. We have associates on staff that participate in many of the major dental plans including: MetLife, Delta, Guardian, Aetna, Cigna, Empire Blue-Cross Blue-Shield and DHA. All of the doctors at Long Island Endodontics accept the following discount plans: Protective Dental, Dental Wellness Partners, Ameri-Plan, Horizon Healthcare, Uni-Care 100/200, Liberty Dental, AFHS, Careington and EDP. Dr. Santopolo will be happy to reimburse you for your out-of-network insurance benefits.
