Dr. John L. Santopolo
Dr. John L. Santopolo is the founder and president of Long Island Endodontics. For over 30 years, he’s been in private practice in Woodmere, and in 2007 opened a second office in Merrick. He received his D.D.S. from Georgetown University School of Dentistry and his M.Sc.D. in Endodontics from Boston University.
As a leader in the implementation of new technologies in the field of endodontics, Dr. Santopolo utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and was one of the first to perform endodontic procedures with the aid of orascope in the state of New York.
Adding to his passion for new technologies was his purchase of a YAP laser in 2011. This instrument aids in the removal of broken instruments and reduces the amount of time a patient spends in the chair.
He frequently lectures throughout the east coast and continues to publish articles on various topics related to his field, including: stem cell technology, the single tooth anesthesia system and the YAP laser.
